Dorothy’s Dance Shop has proudly served dancers from all over south Texas for 40 years! As the oldest dance boutique in San Antonio, our friendly staff have over 50 years of dance experience and expertise. Our two locations carry a wide selection of dance clothing, shoes, training tools, and accessories to cater to your every need. So, whether you’re searching for your next convention outfit, or trying to find that perfect pair of pointe shoes, Dorothy’s experienced staff is ready to help you have the perfect shopping experience! From first time dancers to professionals, Dorothy’s Dance Shop has something for everyone!

- Sewing Services Let us help with those finishing touches. Ribbons, elastic, darning or drawstring repair.
Return Policy
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your purchase! If something isn't quite right, please contact us within 30 days with your order number. We're happy to help as long as items are unused, with original tags, and in original condition. Please note that tights cannot be returned for health and safety reasons, and all clearance items are final sale. We're here to answer any questions before you buy!
A Note about pointe shoes
Your safety is our top priority. Pointe shoes should always be fitted in-store by our trained specialists and only worn by dancers approved by their instructor. We care deeply about your wellbeing and don't recommend purchasing pointe shoes without proper fitting and instructor approval. Before sewing or breaking in new shoes, always try them on with supervision on a clean, dry surface to ensure the perfect fit.
Please remember: once pointe shoes show any signs of breaking in, alteration, or use, we cannot accept returns. We're always happy to answer questions during your fitting to make sure you feel confident in your choice!
